Hello World
When I was a child, I dreamed of having my own library. A place to retreat to and read a book in peace and quiet. One shelf filled with my own published novels…
Dreams change.

Now, I carry my books in my pocket wherever I go. I do not want or need a private room dedicated to books and reading.
Yet, as I begin this blog, I find myself thinking back to that image of a library. A place of knowledge and creativity. Art and science. Carefully wrapped in text to make the content accessible to as many people and generations as possible. To share, to learn, to enjoy. That is what this blog is about.
I want to gather and share my knowledge of storytelling. I plan to explore its depths, combining my perspective as a writer with that of a scientist and others who care about facts, but also about communicating them effectively. I am happy to include your input if you would like to share it (though it may take me a while to process it). You are welcome to participate or just stay and read. After all, a library is a place of silence. A shared space open to all.
There might be some fiction in between. Or some philosophy. Just like in a real library, I will try to tag and sort articles, so you can decide if the topic is what you want at the moment.
It will take me some time to fill the shelves. If you create art, you may know the feeling that nothing is ever finished because there is always something to improve. This place is not a place of perfection (nothing is). Nor is it a place for first drafts. I will give my blog the time it needs to give you the quality your time deserves.
Welcome to my library. Make yourself comfortable. Have a cup of coffee and pet your cat. Enjoy.
